The most iconic of all Christmas Puddings’ shapes, a perfect sphere fell out of fashion because of how difficult it was to make and is often referred to as a cannon ball, because of its weight. This is our most traditional recipe, rich in fruit, nuts and spices and would make a stunning centerpiece to any Christmas table. Just about the only improvement you could make to it would be to top it with a sprig of holly.
